Developing & maintaining system integrity and performance is the aim, through the use of matched components in the rigid and flexible sections of a hydraulic circuit.

What is the purpose of supplying system integrity in the tube and tube fittings if the hose and hose fittings do not conform to the same standard?

To often system integrity is denigrated by the use of non standard fittings and mismatch of design parameters by the 'conversion' of metric hose fittings with JIC or BSP hose fittings. This happens often due to pressure to have a system back 'online' when a failed hose assembly has halted production.

Flanges Australia recognize both the reality and the need and has extended the offered range of metric tube fittings to include metric hose fittings in straight, 90 and 45 degree versions, all with the highest integrity 'o' ring seal.

The metric hose system is divided into two main categories;

Flanges Australia now supply both metric tube fittings with cutting ring design and metric hose fittings in both zinc passivated steel and AISI316 stainless steel.

All metric hose fittings supplied by Flanges Australia are one piece design, incorporating slip nuts for maximum strength and both the 'L' and 'S' series have 'O'ring seal incorporated into the 24 degree taper sealing face thus ensuring the highest integrity possible in the sealing area of the fitting.

The hose fittings are available to suit from 6mm tube ( M12x1,5 ) to 42mm tube ( M52x2,0 )

There are common jump sizes available from stock.

Hose fittings are a conventional two piece construction of stem and swaging ferrule. Swaging ferrules are stocked currently for SAE100R1 and SAE100R2 non skive hose.
